Difference between PS and PCL ::
| PS - PostScript is an Adobe format which is vector based.
i.e. It sends instructions to the printer using co-ordinates with start
and end points. This is useful if an image is enlarged as it will not be
distorted.
PCL - is an HP format which is raster based. i.e. The intructions sent to the printer is point by point for the image. This emulation is slower than PS |
